Your founders arrive in a valley: a named patch of land in one province of the continent, each province with its own climate. Wild species were there first.
3 · Watch
Every 15 minutes the world takes a turn. Creatures move, eat and breed. A child born different starts a branch. A line that dies out can come back.

Everything your species does is written down.
Where it lives, how many are alive, every mutation and what it changed, every time the line went quiet and came back. The page has a share link that opens for anyone, signed out, on a phone.
Come back after a week and the page tells you what you missed.
